The whole call is a brilliant set-up.

Man, these sensors are quick on this one. Here's a mirror.

I loled when they named Stef Carse (a french-canadian country singer) as prime-minister of Canada and Richard Z. Sirois (a radio humorist) as prime-minister of Quebec... And got no reaction from Palin at all...

Yah, but she's neighbors with Canada, eh? Claims that's part of her foreign policy experience, ya' know?

She's obviously over her head. Her immaturity is obvious in her reactions. She's still trying to work out how to answer the phone with here handlers. She talks right through without even thinking about what's being said.

Could anyone make out what the French was, when they spoke in the beginning about killing small animals from a helicopter? Even I can hear the Canadian accent when he says, "I just love killing those animals". "Take away life, it is so fun" He had her hook, line and sinker already. She just giggles and keeps going.

She follows through, showing her understanding by going along with the 'Cheney' insult. At lest she got that joke, but didn't understand that the joke was her.

Carse is doing fine too according to Palin and she hasn't seen the Prime Minister at her rally's. But it's been great workin' with them as Governor. Why would she just go along with this, if she didn't know. She tightened here own noose and hung herself on that one.

Does Sarkozy's wife, that "popular singer, and hot model, and she's so hot in bed", have any children yet? Or was Palin talking about the kids from the woman he left to marry her when she talks about "adding energy to your country with that beautiful family of yours"?

If Marcel, the guy with bread under his armpits the equal of Joe the plumber, I wonder if he minds spreading the wealth too? At lest Marcel gets health care for his taxes. I wonder how Joe the Plumber would feel about paying close to 3/4 of his income for taxes? But If France is a good example for us here in the US, shouldn't Palin stop talking about the evil socialism?

This isn't funny anymore. This could be the President of the US someday. Maybe by January. Can you imagine the nut job judges she would nominate? Be very afraid. Please go out and vote.

When you stop for a moment and think about the actors/puppet/frontmen & women we call politicians, it is really too absurd to fully absorb.

My outside view from the UK is that this whole thing is just a ridiculous media circus farce. I don't see any big difference between the candidates, there seems to be a huge media bias to one side (no-one has pranked Obama yet?) and it looks as though our own politics is going the same way. Same with independents here - earlier this year I played at the Monster Raving Loony conference, they made as much sense as anyone else :-)

Count,
About the hunting part, I'll go by memory but, Sarkozy says something like, "maybe somday we could go hunt baby seals togheter". This is in reference to some famous French artists who strongly oppose seal hunting in Quebec (Paul McCartney was one of them but he ain't French, Brigitte Bardot is the most famous, she's a singer from the sixties, quite a bit crazy now).

This is Stef Carese :

Richard Z. Sirois was part of a famous group of humorists from the 1980-1990's. He's now a radio guy...

Thanks for the translation Plante,

Here's an exclusive interview with the punksters from CBS. Gullible as Brittney Spears. What a comparison.
