Yeah, she had some songs, but she was known as the "blonde bombshell" from the films of Roger Vadim (who also made Barbarella, and Fonda made some songs, too. Fonda was, in fact, kind of a Bardot clone for the English speaking market.
Later on, Bardot became known for her involvement in animal rights issues and for her public fears about immigration in France.

But, as far as her looks go, there are only a few of the bombshells from the 60s that would still be hot to most young men. Older men might just use their imaginations more Then again, look at Arnald.

I thought she was hot in 1974 or so, but never followed her singing career...probably because it was strictly a euro thing.
Later, I heard about the neo-nazi leanings she was into and I totally lost interest.

Mirren is nice at 63, yes. She'll look even better when you're her age . Bardot's 74, but it's a bit sad for because she was such a bombshell when younger.
