I just saw a Rashida Jones interview on the topic and it was eye opening!
A viable option for economic equity where the prospects are diminishing but I would be a fool to tell those same women to start at $9.00/hr at some hokey pokey uncaring corporate entity.
Sadly. only a small percentage become the IT face of porn so perhaps others skill sets are mandatory to go beyond the usual porn attributes.
I will definitely check it out!

It's not a complete picture of the porn industry, the focus is on the recruitment process of "the girl next door."

I have a niece, and seeing that makes me sad, and worried, for young women out there.
I think that while those girls in the documentary may have had some idea of what they were getting into, at age 18 they couldn't have any idea the extent of what they'd be doing, or how it was going to affect them emotionally.
It's like throwing a fawn to the wolves.

I agree, at 18 the brain hasn't fully developed yet and I don't believe they are aware what it means to have your video go online forever.
