dried ginger is actually more potent than fresh in terms of the health promoting effects of gingerols.

try carrot, cabbage, onion, garlic and pomegranate. not as gross as it sounds. fruity with a spicy after kick.

in Cali they make Banbados- i cant spell it right but they use- apples, oranges, celery, cucumber, blueberry , strawberry, beat (purple veggie) carrots- its awesome you feel high after drinking it.

That's been my recipe of choice of late as well. Occassionally I'll throw in some broccoli, but it just doesn't yeild much in the way of juice. At least not in my weak-ass Juiceman Jr. If I want a shot of wheatgrass I go to the Jamba Juice and buy it.

I usually juice after I train... perhaps I should give it a shot before hand though...

re: broccoli... you should just use collard greens instead. much juicier and more nutritious to boot. best with apples, carrots, etc. - as previously discussed.

You're probably right, broccoli's just what's been available.

Oddly enough Ginger is my sister.

dude... I can't hide it anymore. I love drinking juice from fresh Ginger...

made the mistake of using a melon rind once (seemed like a good idea at the time). the whole drink just tasted of 'front lawn'...

Duuuude, I've been trying for ages to get Ian to do something really stupid and give us video, but you're not helping! ;D I was hoping for a "I just drank some garlic juice and I saw god" thread, but now there's no way it's gonna happen. So far he's been remarkably resilient to being dared to take pictures of himself in strange costumes or in weird places in Hong Kong. Eventually, eventually. I think I'll take him hiking to Tai Ma San and let the monkeys do their mischief. Mu-wha-hah-hah! 8-)
