Dale Dugas recovery

In case anyone here hasen't heard yet, Dale Dugas was bitten by a rabid squirrel last week.

He is being treated and is currently at home recovering.

On a serious note, Chuck Norris was bitten by a cobra. After 10 days of excruciating pain, the cobra died ???

That is dreadful news. Rabies treatment is painful and not without aftereffects. I hope he recovers fully.

I guess iron body doesn't work against squirrels then.. :)
Joking aside.
Tough break, best wishes for a quick and full recovery to Dale, the big man of Bagua.

Just goes to show exactly how far reaching 'self defence' can be.. ha.
I'm guessing it was a ninja squirrel, they are absolutely like the worst kind.

Bastards.

Best of luck to Dale on his recovery. I hope he got his tetanus shot and his HRIG shot along with the vaccine doses.

I'm friends with him on Facebook.
The squirrel attacked him while he was outdoors teaching a Southern Mantis class.
He received treatment, but had a reaction to it.

Keep him in your prayers, send healing / positive energy, etc.

Sure will do, can't be much fun having this happen to yourself or anyone. So was it a red or grey squirrel, i'm guessing it was grey, no?

Brothers,

Thank you for the kind words.

Still recovering. The Rig kicked my ass along with the vaccine. I have one more dose and then I am done.

Uggh.

It was a big red squirrel that was sitting on the fence watching us begin to train. I was training my 3 section staff earlier, grabbed it and tried to shoo it away. It jumped at me and I blocked it with my right arm that was scratched up and bitten. I threw the tree rat on the ground and killed him with my 3 sectional.

When they gave me the Rig I had a reaction and they had to send me to a local ER. 6 hours later...I was sent home.

It seriously kicks your ass.

Damn. A bloke with the size, training and deadly edged weaponry of Dugas can be KOed by a squirrel?

It is a sad world we live in.

Sounds rough Dale, good to hear from you and things went well in the end.
Teach that tree rat not to mess! BLAM, SPLAT!

The ones in my ends are sweethearts. Me and the Mrs. take my little one to the park and feed them really often. They literally come over and eat nuts from our hands.
Sweet as anything..

Yes I can also attest to the friendliness of the furry little fukers here in uk.

Must be some gangster ass squirrels you got over there, all terrorizing neighborhoods and up to no good.

Glad to hear your on the mend Dale. Sounds like a nightmare.

Dale is the gangster here.

He attacks an innocent squirel who was chilling out while watching some cool kung-fu in the park.

It's called karma.
