well, in the end, no grand slam for England but still back to back wins in 6 nations isn't too shabby

It was supposed to be the jewel in the crown, the back to back grand slam. After the Scots how can Ireland stand in the way. Well frankly the English performance was pathetic, like before Ernie took over, fumbles, useless high kicks, lack of penetration, you name it, it was missing any semblance of the team in the previous match, I told a friend at half time 'they've lost'

I missed the first half due to work reasons and only saw the second half which was quite a nailbiter. The boys in green started to look a bit weary there at one point and England's work in the maul was impressive but in the end, not quite enough...
Best comment I heard from one of Corconian colleagues after the final would roughly transliterate to 'Nothin compares to beating t'English in spart baehh'
