Yep, some people are destined to be conquerors; others to be conquered. That's one way to look at it. Here's some things from the vets who went to Standing Rock. It's a slightly different pov. More importantly, it was for the Lakota Sioux, not for propaganda.

ya I'm a vet too, and would not agree with what they did...brain washed 101
The pipe line will end up going through....right besides the others already there.

as far as " some people are destined to be conquerors; others to be conquered." I view this as BS.

It does suck to be the conquered. Except if its the US who's the conqueror which was
what the other clip showed.

"“I’m going to plead with you, do not cross us. Because if you do, the survivors will write about what we do here for 10,000 years. - See more at: https://www.conservativereview.com/comm ... np4Bd.dpuf"

said to some people, by some one who is not destined to be conquered

So, the vet part doesn't mean anything when it comes to the issue of the pipeline. Of course, the Lakota signed a treaty; but, there's really never been a treaty that the US stuck too if there was some profit to be made. Anyway, the Lakota are fighting for the land and the water, and against the damage that pipelines do. So, all the stuff about conquering is besides the point unless you want to simply say that the "US" can do whatever it likes.

Yep, everyone conquered by the US is doing just fine, even while the US is going down the tubes. We need to spread our success with the Lakota all over the world. It's funny because, that argument is how one convinces some little kid that the US is just an evil empire pretending to be better than others. It's true about it sucking to be conquered; but, the truth is just what the US founders expressed about "the spirit of liberty" in all humans. So, if one thinks in those terms, one has to admit that it automatically creates an enemy. Sure, it might be a hopeless fight; but, it's not a fight for conquest.

I'm just sayin'. It feels great to be the conqueror, but it's just a state of mind unless one has actually conquered something. It's said that if you want to see a man's true character, just give him some power. Never fails.

Ron Panunto wrote:Trump owns stock in the pipeline company.

Then it would all make sense.

If I recall correctly, he sold his interest in the company that owns the pipeline. But, that just means that it was transferred to his sons.
