The timing is interesting too as far as when the story broke and when it was announced charges would not be pursued. Just sounds like he was forced out in a scandal but not prosecuted because he had damaging information himself...like an unofficial deal was made. Too bad because Spitzer was one of the very few that was going after NYSE corruption, but they found his weak spot and either exploited it or just monitored it.
