New shows
The Mentalist-probably the best of the newbies although lead is a bit ingratiating, hope they can maintain a good level
Life on Mars-interesting premise, back to 73, all the obvious clichés, in spite of a stellar cast it doesn’t catch fire
Knight Rider-JTS when it opened, talking cars don’t hack it anymore
Fringe-only saw a few episodes, X files meets CSI, what I saw looked good
Pushing Daisies-couldn’t get into it[its been cancelled]
Eleventh Hour-super scientist helps FBI, nothing new
Life-switched it on accidentally, got addicted, freaky detective[sort of like the L & O guy]

Comeback kids
Prison Break-got really interesting, hope it holds up
Supernatural- got moribund last season, this season has devils, angels, fallen[hot] angels, demons, pretty wild

Rolling along
Numbers-sometimes good, sometimes bad
Bones- as above, seems to have lost its way,
NCIS-Still good in spite of some annoying cast members
Heroes-couldn’t get into it, what I saw looked interesting
Criminal Minds-JTS a season ago, occasional interesting episode
Smallville-still interesting after all these years, maintains good level
