Bruce Lee: The Mandarin audience just loved the Big Boss

While Bruce Lee, his wife, Raymond Chow and Leonard Ho were sitting and waiting for the premiere of the picture the Big Boss on the third of October Nineteen seventy-one, they were joking around and they were doing that in order to ease the apprehension that all of them were feeling. It was known that in Hang Kong if the audience did not like something they were seeing on the screens they would openly jeer about that and it was also known that they would even attack their seats with knives if the picture was really that poor. When the movie came to its end for a couple of seconds there was nothing. Nothing could be heard from the audience. And then after some moments everybody started to shout from euphoria and complete up-roar. Bruce Lee was the star that night and he was mobbed when he was trying to get out of the movie theater that nigh and the following day the press was equally ecstatic. People just loved and adored everything they saw on the big screens. Bruce Lee was very happy about that.
