when you don't really, really need to lose weight, how do you get motivated to drop that last bit of vanity weight that doesn't really matter that much in the scheme of things, but it'd be nice to get rid of in any case? what is the method? or what are some "hacks"? I cannot give up alchohol as I've already done that one.

An article by Tim Ferris on using bets to reinforce and create incentives to accomplish things.

Most notably, you make a prepaid bet to give money to an organization you hate in the event you fail to achieve your weight loss goals.

While I've never done this, it does present an interesting approach utilizing negative reinforcement. And based off of my experiences abroad negative reinforcement is highly under rated.
