Yeah, but my point was that the animus existed between competing schools and who had authority too teach a system. That Paul (later PKA champ) was selected to defend Wai Hong's claim illustrated that non-Asians had long been taught.

Afa "Kung Fu" the series, sure, it wasn't the first time we had heard of it. I had spent many afternoons at the Sun Sing before then. But, television obviously introduced it to millions more people. The show was among the most watched. Even if it's argued that the exposure would have come eventually, the show and "Enter the Dragon" at least accelerated that process.
