Not interested if its taiji or not.

The kick used at 3:45 seemed very similar to the the clip of the OP. Both to me very high risk requiring a lot of skill
to pull off. Downside is that they were both fully committed movements not much margin for error
if one missed or was jammed trying to do them.

Used to know some tang soo do, stylist both in Ger, and Kor.
Korean style kicking can be very effective as with anything with
a skilled practitioner. Although the clip is titled "taiji" the kicking
style seems to have a korean flavor to it.
