Just finished listening to this podcast. Really fascinating stuff from two people who have immersed themselves in traditional models as well as neuroscience and philosophy. :)

I really liked Sam Harris' book "Waking Up" for having something to say to atheists when they want to know more about advanced mediation practices in non-religious language.

I'm part way through and I've really enjoyed it also. I've just started delving into meditation and I've found it to be really good as an "intellectual" addition to the practice I'm working through with the headspace app.
