Hepeated is the new mansplaining. This happens to women and non-binary people all of the time, especially at work. I know it's personally happened to me. I once threw out an idea at a meeting that was dismissed by the group only to come to work the next day to find out they were running with an idea that my male colleague had pitched, which was the exact same idea I had suggested the day before. I was so stunned that at first I began to question whether I had imagined coming up with the idea the day prior.
The CEO of Youtube is a woman who said back in May that being interrupted is a microagression.
http://money.cnn.com/2017/05/03/technology/susan-wojcicki-american-opportunity/index.htmlThat's amazing. A CEO of a huge, well-known company doesn't understand how to assert herself and says, in so many words, that it's difficult being a female minority in silicon valley and by default, because there are fewer women in Silicon Valley, there is sexism. Damn, girl, you're the CEO of YT, sounds terrible. Keep whining about microaggressions, maybe that will help.
