Vegas Shooting

It seems as if there is a continuous parade of disasters, some natural , some man made. The latest shooting will bring the usual questions and outrage: how did he get the gun, was he mentally ill, was he on medication, change the gun laws etc etc but we know in six months time nothing will have changed and a new shooting will occur.

He had an entire arsenal of automatic weapons and explosives, and you are right - nothing will change, although the Republicans want to make it easier to obtain military weapons.

Five things that just don’t add up about the Las Vegas mass shooting
Monday, October 02, 2017 by: Mike Adams
(Natural News) Our hearts and prayers go out to all those killed or injured in the Las Vegas shooting, and in a nation where so many anti-Americans are kneeling in pampered protest, this mass shooting saw veterans and police officers standing up, helping the victims and heading straight for the shooter to take him out. Real Americans don’t kneel, they stand and get to work to save lives. Today I offer tremendous gratitude to all the first responders who helped save lives and stop the violence. Although the news reporting on this shooting is still in its early stages, there are five strange things that just don’t add up about this massacre (so far). I run through them below.
#1) Dozens of concert-goers reported the presence of multiple shooters
Although law enforcement says there was only one shooter, multiple witnesses are openly reporting the presence of multiple shooters. This could reasonably be the result of confusion and chaos, but it’s also highly suspicious that the shooter had “full auto” weapon which is usually limited to law enforcement or military personnel.
This question about multiple shooters was also raised after the Aurora, Colorado “Batman movie theater” shooting, in which numerous witnesses reported the presence of multiple shooters.
If this shooting was carried out by multiple shooters, it would obviously indicate planning and coordination among a group of people who sought to carry out the shooting for a political purpose of some kind.
#2) Who warned concert-goers they were “all going to die” a full 45 minutes before the shooting started?
Via the UK Express:
One woman, who was at the Route 91 music event, claimed an unidentified woman had told other concert-goers they were “all going to die” after pushing her way to the front of the venue.
The witness, 21, told local news: “She had been messing with a lady in front of her and telling her she was going to die, that we were all going to die.
“They escorted her out to make her stop messing around with all the other people, but none of us knew it was going to be serious.”
She described the lady as Hispanic. The lady was escorted from the venue along with a man.
The unnamed witness, who was attending the event on her 21st birthday, described the pair as short, both around 5 ft 5ins to 5ft 6ins tall, and looked like “everyday people”.
It’s clear that neither of these two people were the shooter, as the shooter is a much taller Caucasian man. Thus, this is not a “lone gunman” massacre. There was coordination. At least three people were aware this shooting was about to take place.
#3) The weapon you hear on videos was FULL AUTO, which is almost impossible to acquire through legal means
The multitude of videos that captured the event clearly indicate that at least one shooter was running a full auto weapons system. Such weapons are almost impossible for “civilians” to acquire. Although some pre-1986 full auto weapons are available for sale, they require extensive ATF documentation, background checks and extremely long wait periods approaching one year. Plus, they tend to cost $25,000 or more, and they’re extremely rare.
Full auto weapons, however, are widely owned by police officers, federal officials and military organizations. It will be very interesting to find out where this weapon came from and how it was acquired.
#4) Why were the exits blocked, trapping victims like rats in a maze?
Numerous reports from witnesses who were on the scene reveal that nearly all the exits were blocked. One witness described the situation as “being caught like a rat in a maze” with numerous “dead ends.”
Why were nearly all the exits blocked? In essence, the concert created a kill zone that amplified the casualties. So far, according to the Clark County Sheriff in Vegas, 515 people have been injured and 59 people have so far died. These are unthinkable numbers, approaching war-time casualty counts. It’s clear from the coverage that this shockingly high body count would not have been possible if people had been free to flee the concert venue.
In essence, the concert trapped the people, preventing them from escaping, and denying them the ability to seek cover. From there, sustained, full-auto gunfire is almost impossible to survive.
In addition, once the shooting started, the stage lights were turned to the crowd, lighting up the crowd and making them an easier target for the shooter(s). Was this deliberate?
#5) Why did the shooter have as many as 10 firearms in his room?
According to news reports, the shooter — identified as Stephen Paddock — had as many as 10 firearms in his room, including several rifles. If he was the only shooter, what’s the point of having so many rifles? One man can obviously only shoot one rifle, and since he had a full auto rifle, he could obviously achieve his evil aims by focusing on his one rifle. There was no need for him to have multiple rifles.
So were the other rifles brought to the room to “stage” the crime scene with an abundance of guns? Why would one elderly man bother to carry 8 – 10 weapons to a hotel room in the first place? That’s a lot of work. Rifles aren’t lightweight devices.
I find the idea that a lone, elderly man would carry so many rifles to a hotel room for no practical reason to be highly suspicious. It makes no sense at all.

So, what exactly is the conclusion? That it was a set up event meant to ... do what, and done by whom?

But, my initial opinion of those claims are that they're bs designed to maneuver the discussion so that it accords with some political viewpoint, definitely to discredit any media accounts that it was a lone, elderly, white man would commit such an act. It's true that he may have been on medications; but, whether he'd been diagnosed with mental issues, or was un-diagnosed, the same denial would come up. Ultimately, it's irrelevant whether he had a political or religious motivation, or was just drunk.

However, it's not at all unusual that this man would be able to get any type of firearm. The laws are made to guarantee the right of people like him to own firearms. It's the same with the TSA, who should they be checking? It's not surprising at all that he'd be able to obtain many weapons or to be able to carry them to his room. In Nevada, if anybody could, he could.

Afa the type of weapon used. Check Youtube for videos of people with cannons. But, one thing the article got right on was that automatic weapons are available to law enforcement agencies. In fact, the trend is to supply them with more military grade hardware, in general. And, there's always going to be theft and profiteering. So, imo, it's not a surprise that a civilian could with the will and the wallet obtain anything out there. After all, the argument for fewer restrictions on civilians is that criminals can obtain whatever they want.

That's the thing, imo. Everyone has to agree that, if someone/anyone or two are allowed to obtain weapons such as they used, it'll be impossible to stop them from mowing down people in a crowd from their hotel room 400 yards away. And, that'd be true if it were a "terrorist" or a madman. This guy apparently committed suicide before being taken, so I'm not sure how medications, drugs, or mental illness fit.

Raciest much?

People like him?

All the weapons so far were bought lawfully, and could be bought by any body. Even people like him. ::)
The mods needed to make them automatic are pretty easy to do, the parts easily bought on line..

Hotels don't check luggage yet.
Apparently he brought them up over a period of days.

Yes, elderly white males do not fit any profile for this type of act. But, I understand your sensitivity.

That was exactly my point. Anybody is rather broad, though.

Well, the police have not released any information on the type of weapons or ammunition --as of the time I'm writing. So, you can't know whether the guns he bought legally were the ones he used.
However, afa modifying a weapon from semi to fully automatic, the process takes skills and tools even when it is possible. I don't think it's as simple as taking out a file. But, it's possible to buy anything, including services, on the internet. How about putting up the link.

Like I said, it doesn't matter whether ISL or anyone else did the shooting. The point was that if it was possible for him, it'd be possible for someone else, even a Muslim terrorist. I also think that if the shooter was a young Muslim, it'd seem reasonable to profile young Muslim gun buyers, or to increase scrutiny and restrictions on them. I don't think it'd be as easy to rationalize about this shooter's group.

I stand corrected. Here's the latest.

While much remains unknown about the specific weapons Stephen Paddock fired from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, killing at least 59 people and injuring potentially hundreds more, authorities said Monday night that 23 firearms were recovered in the hotel room.

The sound of gunfire captured on videos recorded during the massacre indicates that Paddock used at least one automatic weapon, a type of firearm that is highly regulated in the United States though a fairly common find at gun shows and firing ranges, including one near Las Vegas that allows customers to shoot military-grade weapons.

It was unclear how Paddock would have acquired an automatic weapon, if he did use one. Those weapons can be legally owned if made before May 1986 and registered with the federal government, or owned by licensed dealers.

So far, at least one has been identified as an AK-47 type rifle, outfitted with a stand to steady it and improve accuracy, said people close to the ongoing probe. Lombardo said the weapons that have been recovered range in caliber from .223, which is associated with AR-15 style rifles, and .308, which is a caliber commonly used in hunting rifles. Lombardo was unsure if any of the weapons were automatic. Scopes were also recovered on the scene, and at least one firearm was a handgun.

Agents with Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms have yet to determine if Paddock modified mechanical components to a semiautomatic rifle to make it fully automatic, Lombardo said, which would be illegal. He also could have used a legal modification like an attachable crank to simulate automatic fire, which depresses the trigger faster than a finger and can be bought online for as little as $40.

It is important to note the distinction between a semiautomatic rifle and a fully automatic weapon. Semiautomatic rifles such as the AR-15 patterned rifle — owned by millions of Americans and found on the scene after mass killings at San Bernardino, Calif.; Aurora, Colo., and Newtown, Conn. — are the civilian variant of the military’s M-16 and M-4 rifles.

One squeeze of the trigger means one round leaves the barrel, which physically limits the amount of fire to how quickly the operator can pull the trigger. AR-15 pattern rifles typically take 30-round magazines, which feeds ammunition into the weapon using a tension spring.

Some states, such as California, regulate the size of magazines, but Nevada does not. A trained shooter can easily remove one magazine from the weapon, load another from a tactical vest or pocket, and continue firing within seconds. There are higher-capacity magazines available, but they are prone to malfunctions and misfeeds.

An automatic weapon, by contrast, fires continuously as long as pressure is applied to the trigger and ammunition is available. While semiautomatic weapons are often incorrectly referred to as “machine guns,” an automatic weapon’s originally designed mechanical system — used to feed, eject and ready the next round — is what makes it a machine gun.

Semiautomatic weapons can also legally simulate automatic fire with “bump” modifications to the stock that harnesses the energy from recoil, forcing the firing mechanism to move faster than originally designed, according to the Trace, a nonprofit website that examines gun violence in the United States.

I understand you can't help yourself.

Really don't have concern based on anything only pointing out that his profile will start to surface as more is uncovered.

Yes, it's very important to make it easier to obtain heavy weapons. I mean that if someone tries to attack you with a heavy machine gun, you also need a heavy machine gun to protect yourself with, right? Right?

???

I mean that's fair. ...right? :-X

Profile? Maybe he was just a deranged guy with a death wish or suffering depression. Anyone with sense knows that he didn't do it because of his racial, religious, or political identity. Or that his identity caused him to be criminal. The response should not be to condemn "people like him" or people like "them." Like I said, if he had been named Mustafa, the narrative would be entirely different. Somebody would have to say that all Muslims aren't terrorists, and point out that his victims were Muslims.

More fake news?
Hotel Guest Next Door To Las Vegas Shooter Saw ‘Multiple Gunmen’
October 3, 2017 Baxter Dmitry News, US 296
An Australian man who was staying in the room next to the shooter in the Manalay Bay has confirmed he witnessed multiple gunmen involved in the Las Vegas attack.
“There were multiple people dead and multiple shooters. I was just hiding waiting for police to come get us. I got outside safely and was hiding in bushes,” Brian Hodge told Australia’s Courier-Mail.
Mr. Hodge, who was staying in room 32134, next door to Stephen Paddock in room 32135, also provided important information when he revealed that a security guard was killed by police.
“My floor is a crime scene. They killed a security guard on my floor.”
Who was the “security guard” who was killed by police?
Wendy Miller from Cooroy, on the Sunshine Coast – another Australian caught up in the Las Vegas shooting – may have provided a missing piece of the puzzle. Also speaking to the Courier-Mail, Ms Miller said she was at a bar in the nearby Luxor Hotel with her husband when she saw what she described as a “man of interest” run by.
Ms Miller said the man sprinted through her hotel after coming off an escalator from the Mandalay Bay.
“The man that they [security] were chasing was wearing a security jacket like them,” she said.
Mr Hodge’s eyewitness report of multiple gunmen and a dead security guard, and with Ms Miller’s report of a security guard being chased by authorities, suggest that the mainstream media narrative of the “lone wolf” gunman is not the truth.
The fact is that this was an orchestrated, co-ordinated attack by multiple conspirators, and the mainstream media are attempting to cover it up.
Video footage confirms multiple shooters
Two explosive videos provided to Your News Wire have also confirmed there were multiple shooters involved in a co-ordinated attack, and the mainstream media of a “lone wolf” gunman operating without a motive is a lie.
Both videos show gunfire originating from the fourth floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel, much lower than the 32nd floor, where the mainstream media is claiming Stephen Paddock, a “lone wolf”, fired on the crowd using an automatic weapon.
The mainstream media narrative regarding Paddock’s motives have also been debunked by FBI sources who reportedly claimed the shooter has links to Antifa as well as ISIS. But mainstream media is actively covering up the information, claiming Paddock had “no political or religious affiliations or interests.”
The fact is the Las Vegas shooting was clearly a co-ordinated false flag attack, orchestrated by Paddock as well as at least one other as yet unidentified gunman operating from the fourth floor of the hotel. The mass shooting and scores of dead will be used by the elite to further push their nefarious agenda.
Anybody who looks into the information available to them on the internet will arrive at the same conclusion. Unfortunately anybody who relies on mainstream media for their information will be force-fed a very different conclusion.
The questions must be asked: why is the mainstream media covering for a mass murderer? Why are they attempting to rewrite his past and erase his political affiliations?
The answers are simple. The corporate media, controlled by a small, elite oligarchy, is operating on behalf of the New World Order, attempting to mislead the public into believing their enemies are their friends, and their friends are their enemies.
It doesn’t suit the mainstream media’s agenda to have an Antifa member responsible for the worst mass shooting in American history. They are actively engaged in covering up this fact up so they can continue pushing the New World Order’s sick and twisted agenda.
Stephen Paddock, the Las Vegas shooter, was an Antifa member who carried out the worst mass shooting in American history in order to create further division in American society, push the country towards civil war, and further the agenda of the elites.
Official Antifa facebook page, Antifa Melbourne, congratulated Stephen Paddock after the bloodiest mass shooting in America’s history, before deleting the post after a torrent of criticism.
