A little late for a review but I recently saw the movie for the second time and was still impressed by its impact. I am not a big fan of motor racing, in my aging wisdom I consider it a waste of gas but I remember in my younger days when Fangio, Stirling Moss, et al were the rock stars of sport and their races were followed with bated breath. This is the story set in 1876, of the rivalry of James Hunt and Niki Lauder. Niki, world champion, Swiss, methodical, emotionally controlled. James Hunt, the pirate, party animal aspiring to the throne. The movie, directed by Ron Howard has a ring of truth, it has not been 'Hollywoodised' and shows the drivers as human beings, warts and all.
