Createspace/photoshop - need help

My wife just completed another book to be uploaded to create space.
The back cover is purple but is showing up white at the bottom. It gradually goes to white.
We are baffled and the designer we used is unresponsive.
Are we missing something obvious? Never issues with other covers.
1 in a million chance someone knows whats going on but thought worth a shot.
