recently been been bitten by the bug to get back outdoors again. probably too much time in front of the pc.

anyway, i like to do things right, so i'm looking for a place to start diggin in and getting up to speed on some of the areas i'm lacking.

i think i missed that one, but when i was a kid i nearly drown in the pond on my grampa's land and one of my uncles jumped in to rescue me and ruined a brand new pair of leather mucluc's.

funny how ironic life can be. he saved me from drowning when i was a bout four, so if it weren't for him i'd be dead already. his son (my cousin) was 11 months younger than me and we were like best freinds growing up. he got into some pretty heavy drugs as a teen and wound up dead about 10 years back.

it would be good to find something specific to your area. you might google for trail guides.

My sister said she saved me from drowning when I was a kid and I saved someone from drowning, so I'm even Steven. You don't know how strong the current is until you try and pull someone out of it!
