Hello,

I was wondering if someone knows where to buy the pants He Jinghan is wearing in this vid:

I lived in Taipei and certainly not. Same as HK. I don't think in mainland China. So that leaves it to somewhere in SE Asia.

Cheers! :)

I am more interested in his hipster haircut than his hipster pants
Just joking, when I was in Taipei there were a lot of tailors who would make them on the spot
I suppose now the price is restrictive

What a brilliant thread, I'd copy the hair too if I had any.
Good luck with this noble quest gerard.

Ha! Something I didn't think about at all. As my Chinese speaking skills are the same as an Inuit in full command of Africaans ;D I probably need to ask you this time:

Where in Taipei should I go to exactly? Daan? Ximen? Zhongxiao Dunhua?

I'll have to ask someone in English as people there are extremely friendly and done speak English quite well.

Cheers :)

Yes tailors are plenty in east Asia but could be tricky to find if not speak the local language, but in a big city as Taipei? Surely there can be some to help out.....As for tailored clothes I myself had a nice wadded pajama-suit made this winter the kind of garment still worn by many here in China even when they're out for a walk..I blend in more and more here in China :)

These look a bit like Thai fisherman pants to me. I have a few pairs I wear around the house. Super comfortable and loads on eBay etc

No worries. I will check out with a tailor next time I travel to Thai. The stuff that is sold in eBay is not what HJH is wearing since his pants are full length and thicker cotton, which is what I'm after...but thanks for your suggestion. After so many years of circle walking (grinding) and foundation work I only feel like to wear either a robe ;) or those wide comfy pants.

Cheers :)
