The democrats have often felt that they occupied the moral high ground. Trump has been shown to have shady connections in deals with Russia, I think he is a disaster and will cause irreparable damage to the credibility of the USA. Nevertheless looking on the other side of the aisle we see that nepotism is rife. The children of biden and kerry were involved in some hanky panky with the chinese, possibly aiding and abetting the theft of information. WTF is wrong with these people, they are already rich but use their posits for profit. There is something very wrong with the leaders of this country

It is interesting to be labelled a liberal when I am actually a pragmatist. I believe that the oligarchs and billionaires have hijacked our country ever since the Citizens United decision. The GOP, which really isn't the GOP, took the money knowing that their appeal was shrinking but the Democratic party is not that different eithe. A lot of them wish to be corporation friendly yet unlike the GOP they are still trying to fight for the workers, yet many of the working class voted Trump and Stein and shot themselves in the foot. I am not nuts for the Dems but since we don't have a Parliamently system, which was not developed until the 19th century, we have no other choice unless we wish to turn this oligarchy into a plutocracy.
