It was in a generous spirit that the sculptor found a box.

WE'RE red, white and blue. THEY'RE red white and blue. We could have a great meeting. It would be the most amazing peace treaty.

Good move, done from a position of strength.

This should shake them up a little bit and reinforce that they are not dealing
with just another US administration.

Hopefully they will regroup and try again. I would suspect that Kim, was feeling some pressure from
inside his administration, maybe even from China suggesting that he try to extract some conditions for the meeting.

They would probably argue about stars, NK's too big, US too many

Trump's Big Willie wrote:You talk about your nuclear capabilities, but ours are so massive and powerful that I pray to God they will never have to be used.

Hmm, seems like the threat of the US using nuclear weapons is at the heart of the matter. Yeah, "we" can eradicate North Korea from the map, and Kim can't do a thing about it. And we'll do it "if"?

I can see the Peace prize on the wall, now.

US implies nuclear threat for years during mlitary "drills", Kim makes his explicit, Trump one-ups him: Trump FTW. Kim will suck it up, and soon.

And within a day, it's back on...according to this.

North Korea’s vice foreign minister Kim Kye Gwan said the North is open to resolving issues with the United States whenever and however after U.S. President Donald Trump called off a June summit with its leader, Kim Jong Un.

I think Xi Jinping told Kim he's gotta do it. Pronto. Done deal and Trump knows it. Could make Kim kowtow if he wanted.

Whatever was said or did Iets hope it works out.

"We had set in high regards President Trump’s efforts, unprecedented by any other president, to create a historic North Korea-U.S. summit,” said the vice foreign minister in a statement released on Friday by the North’s central news agency.

“We tell the United States once more that we are open to resolving problems at any time in any way,” he said."
