Cool Christmas Traditions

So, what do you for Christmas that's unique to your family that you think is really cool.

Mine is we make Almond Roca. My mom just finished the first batch of the year and I'm noshing on some right now. It's the shit. Wouldn't taste like the holidays without the stuff to me.

Best,

My grandfather started the tradition the 'Santa' decorates the tree. So when the kids go to bed the tree is bare and there's no presents or anything, then when the kids get up the lights are all on and all the gifts are under the tree. It always made Christmas seem really magical when we were kids (my mom continued the tradition). Of all 31 cousins, I'm the only one to continue the tradition with my own kids.

Also on Christmas eve my daughter and I cut out snow flakes from paper to decorate the house with and watch the polar express. :)

When I was a little kid, my grandmother would stay up with me and watch the Christmas specials on TV (How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Frosty The Snowman, Rudolph The Rednose Reindeer, and Twas The Night Before Christmas), eating vanilla ice cream with maple syrup on top and drinking eggnog.

These days I sit at home, stay warm, read some rare esoteric volume of occult lore and get good and buzzed on eggnog with rum or whiskey...

lol! I was gonna make a rude one, but they want waaaayy to much info to just fuck around on their website for a few minutes. Probably spend more time filling out their forms than making a flake.

My Christmas tradition is taking hits off the pipe and blowing the smoke into the bathroom fart fan at whatever wife's relatives' house we're at.
