boxing day in Canada is the equivalent of black friday (day after thanksgiving) in USA. People go on mad shopping sprees expecting massive discounts, but what most retailers do now is (Best Buy or Future Shop for example) put 1 57" TV set on sale at 50% off and all the others are 10% off. First 20 people in the door get a door crasher special and everything else can be a better sale price the rest of the year.
Some shops DO offer a semi-decent sale, but when you see 50 people lining up in the snow or rain after dinner on Christmas day just to get 20% off on a Playstation 3 or the new Wii I just think "dude, pay the extra $45...what's your time and suffering in the cold worth?"
"The power of Christ compels you!" *spank*
now with ADDED SMOOTHOSITY!
