well the open wound area is about 20mm wide now. that's about 3/4". skin heals at about 1mm a week, so growing inward from 2 sides = (20 weeks / 2mm = 10 weeks to go).

I've been getting some serious aches in my ankle along the bone. I"m going to the doctor in 30 minutes for her to look at it. In general, it stings 24/7, but the aching in the bone (ankle) is a concern for me. It's gotten me back on painkillers - I could deal with the stinging, it's just a 'major annoyance' at this point but the ache is enough for some meds.

just got back from the Dr.

it's infected so they put me on novo-lexin, but took a swab to run a test to ensure it's not resistant to this particular antibiotic.

Which side of the ankle: outside (lateral) or inside (medial)? Outside is urinary bladder, inside is kidney, spleen, and liver meridians.

the discoloration the doctor pointed out engulfs the burn and then continues down the INSIDE of my leg in a (large) kidney bean shape. She also measured it and mentioned it's no longer healing as fast as it should be expected.
