They had the new year extravaganza in Japan put on by FEG (parent company of Dream, K-1, among other fight promotions) featuring bouts with MMA and K-1 rules. You can check out the fights at mmashare.com. Had some freak shows on there, like Crocop versus Hong Man Choi, who's over 7 feet tall. Also had Bob Sapp fighting some guy posing as fictitious comic book pro-wrestler Kinnikuman in an absolutely ridiculous fight.
All in all, it was a pretty good event. Mark Hunt versus Melvin Manhoef is a can't miss! It certainly did have the Pride feel to it. Also they have that crazy announcer lady. WAR WHOEVER SHE IS!
edit: Her name is Lenne Hardt. Did a wiki search, and it looks like she's done some voice work for Shenmue 2 and Tekken 5 and 6 (as Anna Williams), so I must give her my deepest propers.
