Think the point of the OP is too many people in the dating scene walk around with a laundry list of what they expect their other half to be, without ever thinking "If I were to bump into a person that fits all of these criteria, am I actually well-developed enough as a person that they would like me?".

Having bumped into a lot of that kind of person in my dating days, the vid really resonates with me - do the work on yourself first, and good things will come.

I believe it's a rather clever trick to use unconscious projection on others to one's own advantage.

Make it clear for yourself what attributes you pin on your better half. Then integrate this into your self and become whole.

You will be very secure in yourself.
