Nothing is nothing or no? If you can call it something it's not nothing?
I think we're just fish in a stream of Tai Chi.When you follow the stream upwards at some point you're at the source, Wu Chi. Then when you plug your finger or fist into the hole of the stream, trying to find out from where the stream comes, you've found the Tao.
Of course you can't find the origin of the source. What would be left to question and wonder?
Yes I said you have to finger the wet hole to gain wisdom.

Yes can be very fun lol. Tai Chi for me is the greatest Qi there is, neither too Yin nor too Yang. Wu Chi is just the source of Chi. And Tao is the source of source, or the sauce of the sauce. The mother sauce.
