Former student went crazy

I was recently informed a former student went insane.

It was a mixture of THC use, meditation and Enochian magic that seemed to do it. All of which I had repeatedly warned him about as things to avoid.

Has anyone here dealt with anything like this and what was the outcome?

Yeah I'd avoid that Enochian shit for sure if you're not sufficiently prepped. You'll wind up doing open-heart brain surgery on yourself with no anesthetic and have no idea what you're doing wrong.

I don't think that insane and crazy are particularly useful labels to attach to anything. How, specifically, are they decompensating? Hallucinating? Pica?

I'm not a psychiatrist, but weed don't make you crazy, a little confused while you're actively under the influence, but it's not a cumulative effect that is going to dissociate you from reality absent some other major chemical influence or pre-existing psychosis.

But drugs and unguided esoteric play with a propensity for pschizophrenia... ya man good luck.

There's no way to talk about it without sounding crazy to the uninitiated, honestly the less you know about it the better off you are.

At the most skeptical, you are working directly with your own psyche in ways that transcend normal comprehension.

At the most believing, you are literally communicating with energetic intelligences that can interact with your reality in various ways.

The temptation here is to keep talking but if you want to know more and it's the path for you a way will appear so if it doesn't don't worry about it.

I dunno. It's a fact we're under continuous psychic assault and it's only getting worse. Your mind and attention span is the last virgin real estate they can claim.

They get that attention by appealing to our strongest and most fundamental emotions.

So we look to their product to sate the craving.

But we're still getting revved, fed more craving, more need, so we maximize our input, get as much as possible.

Eventually that runs out, we hit the limit of our ability. Some folks look to esoteric work as a route to expand that ability. Lots of ways to do that.

In my opinion and experience, some of those ways can lead you to some bad places.

A lot of ways an occult practice can be like building a car, the problem is when you get the engine in and want to test it out before you install the brakes or steering, but you don't even know they're missing.

I just mean specifically in my own life and path recently I've run into an unusually large number of people struggling through a dark night of the soul.

I have had quite a number of students who took marijuana in various forms, and when I tell them they have to quit it or they won't be able to get better at kungfu they stop coming to class.
