When they did that in Pride FC way back when, IIRC head kicks, soccer kicks, stomps were all allowed. Not saying that should be the solution now. But I guess humans never learn from other humans

/ better approx answer to right q than exact answer to wrong q which can be made precise /

As far as I know Pride was the only professional org to allow it.

On rewatching it's not stephen crowder and the audio doesn't match the video, but it does show a guy get in somebody's face and get clocked.

This is a very rare approach, but given the goals and rules of that particular engagement, I see technically nothing wrong with it. I would never do this personally, and in my 16 years at a BJJ school I never once saw anyone do this. FWIW

Imo, if they grapple to the ground and one stands up, the other should be penalized for stalling if he doesn't. If two people are down trying to leg or ankle lock the other, that's different.

I think that’s another thing they did in Pride.

Require a restand.

Some things shoulda been banned but it was an interesting format.

I miss Rampage Jackson. About to watch him in the A-Team movie.

Instagram and FB are both heavily censored and biased, complete crap. I am mostly on X/Twitter and Telegram. Sometimes on FB, never IG.
