File/print would work fine for a normal printer. if you have access to a xerox machine or something as complicated, then you have to option of making a double sided print. And if your document doesn't have too small of a print then you could also go ahead and put two pages on a single side making four pages on a single piece of paper. (Thus reducing 100 pages of document into 25 pieces of paper.) But I can't really walk you through it because all printers have different print options and I don't know the one you are working with.

I guess I had it my mind that it was going to be hard for some reason.

Thanks as always for bringing my ignorance into focus, Graham.

Thanks guys,

download pdf995 - it's free. I've been using it for years on all my computers. install it, and when you click 'print' on your document, select pdf995 as your printer. works awesome.

I use pdfcreator when I don't feel like using adobe acrobat. it has some nice batch printing capabilities, and can consolidate multiple prints into a single pdf.
