"Dear Illuminati. Lets forgive everything...you've been robbing us blind forever and you have most of our money...lets just call it quits...you take your loot and let us have the reigns of power back. We the people then go on a two or three year hardship plan and pay off all of our debt and start over like we were back in the day with the orginal constitution.

Everybody wins. Then we can go be Star Trek together."

Doesn't this seem resonable?

I could be missing something but this doesn't sound like a group that wants to set up a new world order. Sounds more like they wanted to prevent that from happening. I doubt that texe marrs, jim mars, david icke or jordan maxwell can even provide any concrete evidence of their continued existence much less a plot to rule the world.

Indeed, it's just a conspiracy theory, albeit one popularised by stuff like the Da Vinci Code. However the term is often used tongue in cheek to refer to those who hold the reins of power.
