I was watching 'The Thing' this weekend and realized how many great movies there are with no women in them.
The Thing
12 Angry Men
Reservoir Dogs
Master and Commander
Also I don't remember any women in Das Boot.
All great guy movies.

Anyway, I think the best ones have been mentioned. But, how about most of the Robinson Crusoes. Other than that, I can't think of a good movie -let alone a great movie-- without at least one woman. Even "Bird Man of Alcatraz" and "Escape from Alcatraz" have small female parts.

i think if they are not in a major roll, then it counts.

I think there's a difference between a movie with no women and one with no important female characters, or where all the important characters are men.
