The Hangover

A post on TNT made me realize that there's no thread about that movie yet, so I figured I should correct that terrible injustice. :)

It is the funniest movie I've seen in years, and one of THE funniest movies I've EVER seen.
Check it out if you haven't already (catch it while it's in the theaters... it's worth it)

Just FYI.

any effects in it that make it theatre worthy?

i'll only do thetres for space operas and big time effects.

huge heads talking drama or comedy...not so much. :)

although, I already know Ed Helms is a funny fucker deluxo.

I usually follow similar rules -- I try to watch it on big screen if it's a "special effects" movie, even if it's a good one regardless of that, like Star Trek.
So from that standpoint -- no, there's no CGI in this one (at least nothing obvious), but I believe big screen helps enhance the experience, so that's my other reason to see something on the big screen, when I KNOW for sure that the movie is good.

You don't have to obviously with this one, can wait for the DVD to come out, but I just thought it was worth it.

FWIW.

Seriously. Best movie, and not even just comedy, I've seen in a long while. The last few minutes where they view the digital camera made the movie worth wild alone.

I don't know how we ever managed to make anything funny until the tazer was invented.

Here it is:

Hello,
How about that ride in, I guess that why they call it Sin City... ha ha. You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself, as a one man wolf pack. Though when my sister brought Doug home I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So there was two of us in the wolf pack, I was alone first in the pack and then doug joined later. And six months ago when Doug introduced me to you guys, I thought "wait a second could it be?" and now I know for sure I just added two more guys to my wolf pack. Four of us wolves running around the desert together in Las Vegas, looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, I make a toast!

And banana cream pies, whoopie cushions, birds pooping overhead. But yeah, that was all primitive slapstick before the tazer.
