It's crazy that mom would be totally down with letting her kid go to jail though. "Now she has to learn a lesson." Hey, it's an honest mistake! You're a kid, mom just broke up with boyfriend, you hear screaming and a slapping sound.... not immediately thinking "maybe my mom's a screamer and she's getting that ass tapped" you jump to conclusions. Call some neighborhood guys to come over and defend your mom.
Maybe they should've been clued in when mom and dude they were putting a beatdown on was nekkid though.
A mistake, sure, but a noble one. I say, if they don't let this slide then the system has completely failed.
