Very cool. There's very, very little footage of the real thing available AFAIK.

That looks enormous though... I thought those things were not larger than a bowling ball, but guess not.

What do you mean it used to be called ball lightening? I had a friend who saw this once, I thought she was crazy. And a liar. Now I am not so sure, esp after reading the wiki page for ball lightening.

lol. we used to see it on the prairies during huge electrical storms pretty much every summer between end of june and mid july.

I've seen smaller ones than that, and in groups as well. Like 2 or 3 together just floating and bouncing around just off the ground and in the air, then they dissipate.
