Thanks! I just like good music!
And for those who have not met Gary (Doc), he is one of the coolest guys to hang out with. Doc has this real Monty Python bend to him.
Jason (HopGarSanSau), his teacher David Chin, and John Wang all had this really cool in-depth conversation about technique and punching, using Jason's ribs as a punching bag. While that was going on, I sat around and talked smack with Chris Heintzman (sp?), one of my most favorite guys there. That guy is the life of any party, he is pretty much the party all by himself. I got a hang out with Sam F.S. Chin and Ashe for a little. Awesome all around.
I am still geeking out over all the fun times I had. The RSF guys there made the whole event for me.
And as far as Ashe, or the Spock to my Bones, What can I say about that guy?
Ok, I need to stop being all love and hugs, gotta get to work.
The man standing in the leftside background of this photo is Sifu Henry Poo Yee, 5th Generation Kwong-Sai Jook Lum Southern Praying Mantis Master.
I really enjoyed seeing so many of my long time old friends like John Wang, Poo Yee, and Pat at this event, and enjoyed making some new friends as well. It was great to see guys like Ashe, Aaron, and Michael Udel, who also post here. RSF was well represented.
Unfortunately, my Judging responsibilities prevented me from doing as much socializing as I would have preferred, but I had a good time overall nonetheless.
