To me it is. More disappointing than shocking when I think about it. They are basically saying they can't win based on their fighting know-how and conditioning and have to use drugs, and you see old timers like Royce and Ken Shamrock still trying to stay in the game by using them. When I hear a fighter say "I feel stronger than ever!" and so on, mark those words, they'll be testing positive in the future. If I recall, when Affliction first started I remember Barnett saying something just like that!

it's because roids give you so much of an edge that not using roids would be suicide.

roids are very common in UFC. But if the people promoting the fights want to keep roids from being used they have the means, they just have to do it. The fact taht they usually dont says a lot.

i don't think every pro uses, but i think many, many do. especially in the 30+ age bracket.
