The place (Nam Koo Terrace) is supposed to be haunted.
It was used as a comfort house by the Japanese during the occupation.
A few years ago, a group of teens went inside at night and came out really spooked. This is all hearsay, but apparently one girl attacked a policeman, and some of them had to be hospitalized.
Anyway, I can see how people would be scared by this house. I've been there at night and it's definitely intimidating. A couple of cats also live around that area, and the meowing can play tricks on the mind.
Glad you guys found it interesting
