Yeah - stats can be used to prove anything

Like the stats that show the US having the highest gun crime rate in the developed world.

you DO know that the reason for this is that suicide by gun is also counetd in these statistics (if it's the statictics i'm thinking of), right? if i want to off myself, i'm not going to fuck around with pills or hanging myself when i have a gun next to me.

I've been there and done that plenty enough, we all know where each other stands on this issue here at RSF.

But no, suicide does not count as gun CRIME as far as I know - you can't commit a crime against yourself.

And yes, the US has the highest rate of gun crime in the western world

ok, i just read of lots of statistics using suicides by gun to strengthen their anti-gun point.
