Drag Me to Hell

What a scary-ass film.

Not so much the visuals - those are pretty predictable - but because it's just ... LOUD.

An hour and a half of anticipating the next BOO!!!!1 and holy crap my nerves are shot.

Oh, and "old man bites tenderly" if you know what I mean ;)

Spoiler

Why did the bf give the button back? What a dumbass...

I knew someone would show me up for this.

Andy, you big rugged man. You are my hero.

Scary in a good way! As in "I hope ATMoM is this good" scary. Didn't manage to soil my jocks though ;)

Did you watch the film? Not bad I thought. Excellent protrayal of the baphomet.

Coz Mr Raimi doesn't do happy endings.

I just thought it was a hoot, plenty of jump out of your seat moments but scarey, jeez In the Night Garden is more disturbing

Maybe I should've used a different word? I've unfortunately never been 'scared' by a horror film, but this is one of my favorite films of the genre i.e. you get what you're paying for.

I think it's a lot better than Rec, for example. There was a big hubbub about Rec being the scariest horror film a while ago, here on this board.

Mrs. Ganush is going to become one of those iconic horror characters, I feel.

Great film! I'd watch it again.

I'd defer to Dmitri on this one but I believe Baba Ganush is some old eastern european super witch evil woman legend. She was well not right.

Dude, baba ganoush is a dish :D

I think you mean Baba Yaga.

They already have... wasn't about her, but she certainly played her part...

You would never guess, she (above) was played by this actor:

Drag me to hell = 100% Raimi

If you are not used to Sam Raimi's way to tell horror, you'll be surprised..lol

Sadly, I was looking for Bruce Campbell the whole movie, and didn't see him
