we aren't going for health care reform in the US. we're helping the insurance industry to be strong and healthy.

Just did some research after reading your comment and you're right Jeff.

The government is going to subsidize private insurance companies for those who can't afford health care.

I'd hate to see those bastards at Kaiser get any richer but I guess that's the way it's going to be.

Single payer health care would be too much of a big step for this country.

Americans always have to be different.

our government is great at business as usual. we could probably take 5% of our war budget and have a single payer system completely funded. it's really too bad that the congress can't think beyond the protection racket that is health insurance.

That's right Jeff, that's the sad reality of the States.

The Government and the corporations are in a backroom making deals while the other 90% of us are fighting amongst each other as if we can really change the outcome of things to come.
