I have seen picture books with the character (Shimjiro) teaching kids how to poop (except the poop was coiled (a la Dr. Slump)).
The subtitles for this one are a bit overdone, though.

Wish there had been instructive cartoons like that when I was a kid, but the FCC censored that kind of stuff. In fact, I don't think that a toilet was depicted on American television -- both visually and audibly -- until "All in the Family" in the early 1970s.

Very educational thanks, I learned a lot from that, but why does a sausage drop out of the little animal's arse when it is plainly trying to take a shite? I am sure that has never happened to me.
Also, why "poop," Josh?
"Lay a cable"
"Drop a dog egg"
"De-sludge"
"Splatter"
are all more descriptive of the act in question.
