Kids are cute.

So I've got this 3 year old, right? Smart as a whip. dangerously smart. I mean, if he sees you do something once, he's got it down and will copy you.

In any case, he's been talking up a storm these past six months or so and watching more kid's TV shows. One of his favorites is that "Ni Hao, Kai Lan!" show with the little girl speaking chinese to her ya ya and animal friends.

When we go to the Chinese buffet now, he's actually saying "Ni hao, Andy!" to the little 5 year old that puts the silverware out and his mom that waits on tables.

So I'm getting ready to go pick the lady up from work, and he's getting his flip flops and his bag full of stuff together for the trip, and he's just jabbering away in nonsense words that sound kinda chinese-ish, so I say "Christian, why are you speaking chinese?"

And he stops, looks up at me and says "Ni hao!"

Very cool, kids can pick things up so quickly, their brains are like sponges.
