Those were the bullet shells of his partner shooting, not bullets. Which is why he could perceive them

But even so, shell casings are generally ejected from a firearm at a rate of speed which would normally prevent the probability of reading anything imprinted on them.

Fwiw, the eyes see faster than the mind can interpret. It's like speed readng.
The same problem; I.e., anyone can "see" an entire page of text in less than a second. It's the speed of comprehension that's at issue. As far as reading an ejectes shell casing, it might be that he already knew the ammo type and only thought he read it. Also, he's remembering something that happpened under stress.

There are questions over the bulls: Some say it was more wrestling than striking, and some say the bulls were held in place while he spanked 'em, some say they were old weak bulls, etc.

Now Karate Bear Fighter IS interesting. I have seen a bit of this and IIRC, it was of a big, black karate chap sparring a VERY large bear in the wild.

Course, it could have been a dancing bear, a guy (or more like, two guys) in a bear suit, etc, etc. Any background on this, anyone?
