Are you an artist?

Rum, beer, movies, nice websites, gaming, etc., without interrupting the flow of martial threads.

Are you an artist?

Postby TaoJoannes on Mon Sep 14, 2009 11:33 am

I'm putting together a freelance interview piece called "The Five Best Artists You've Never Heard Of", and I'm trying to cover a wide range of creative/expressive disciplines.

So, if anybody is up for it, I'd really love to have a Martial Artist included in the set.

You can post or PM me here, or on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id= ... 624&ref=mf or http://thelmao.co.cc

Thanks in advance.

Ashe is a REALLY good artist. I've seen some of his work and it's impressive...

I don't want to get too ambitious. :)
If it does well, I can always try "Five More Of the Best Artists You've Never Heard Of" follow-ups.

The idea is getting some exposure for people who've got talent and are on their way to "making it" but maybe haven't gotten the audience their work deserves. Also to let other people know about the challenges they face, how they achieved success, etc

The MA part is more about addressing the idea of MA as an art form. It's interesting, and I'm sure it will rile some folks up. These artist types can get real persnickety. :)

cerebus: I'm more interested in the martial art itself, though a martial artist with strong skills in another discipline is good, I'd want to focus on the artistic aspect of this thing called martial arts. Ashe, if you are interested, hit me up!
