Just finished seeing this piece of work..

Image

Its mesmerizing. Much, much more than the Dollars trilogy.

- The reward for this man is 5000 dollars, is that right?
- Judas was content for 4970 dollars less.
- There were no dollars in them days.
- But sons of bitches... yeah.

I think theres just too many cheeky, cheery teens to please these days. Too many guys who hang out at Starbucks and too many Twilight fans.

His last movie (Once Upon a Time In America) was the first I ever saw of his work, and I remember being completely blown away by it.

Watched the "West" one for the first time just a couple months ago... Yes, it was very, very good.

My favorite movie of all time. I love the opening scene where Bronson/Harmonica meets the three men after getting off a train. Leone used no music, only the ambient environmental sounds to create tension.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Harmonica: And Frank?

Snaky: Frank sent us.

Harmonica: Did you bring a horse for me?

Snaky: Well... looks like we're...
[snickers]

Snaky: ...looks like we're shy one horse.

Harmonica: You brought two too many.
