best to shelve morals, ethics etc if diving into that sector..the whole arms industry is like this..

small arms companies deal in weapons of mass destruction.

people with guns kill people without guns.

if everyone had guns, then people with guns would kill other people with guns.

If only police had guns, then police with guns would kill people without guns.

In the end, no guns = substantially less killings.

i still avocate that everybody be mandated to carry a pistol, plus spend two hours a week working in a hospice..
