Brock Lesnar is in the Bruce Lee "lineage"

Postby everything on Mon Oct 05, 2009 5:48 pm

Was just reading some magazine called Fight and it gives this "lineage" from Bruce Lee down to Brock Lesnar. Of course the word "direct" doesn't fully apply but

Bruce Lee taught Jeet Kune Do to Dan Inosanto. Dan Inosanto taught Erik Paulson and Greg Nelson, accrediting both of them. Erik Paulson and Greg Nelson taught Brock Lesnar. So Brock Lesnar is actually a direct product of Bruce Lee.

yeah indirect I guess. I didn't find any reference to Paulson and Nelson being his coaches other than the Fight one.

I thought he was the offspring of a huge violent lesbian and a turkey baster filled with the semen of Bruce Tegner?

Was I wrong? Maybe, he does kind of look a lot like Bruce Lee. Could be his son maybe? ;D

Interesting that Paulson is a JKD-raised man who also does MMA. However, I have seen nothing in his (or Brock's) fighting style that resembles Bruce Lee's' style (ie strong focus on lead leg side kick and front hand punch; occasional WC straight blasts; etc, etc).
