Politics as usual

Do the recent victories by Republicans represent a renaissance after a year in the cold.
I think not. It is a natural reaction to a year in which democratic principles have been ground in the dust and the electorate saw there was little difference between the parties.
In New Jersey Corzine was a democrat who ignored the people and sucked up to his old wall st buddies, who took over the White House, giving money to institutions who in turn gave bonuses to employees who made them bankrupt. Even Obama's eloquence and promises could not refute the evidence. [In NJ there was also a move afoot to have compulsory vaccination]
One of the items on the Obama agenda was to pull the troops out of Iraq, he didnt say he would put even more troops into Afghanistan. into an unwinnable. You can fool some of the people ...........The Health bill, good idea but probably another disaster in the making where big Pharma makes a killing and the the benefits never reach the people who need them.

This is why people need to get out of the Left-Right paradigm, stop being distracted by the Democrats and Republicans put in front of them and look at who is really running the show.

I agree this place is becoming a nation of ideologues.

People don't really discuss the possibilities they just shout out political slogans like they're the word of god.

Someone open a damn window!
